Parque Santiago 1 is a very popular complex which is great for a self catering holiday. There are several beautiful beaches within walking distance from the areas where you find the Parque Santiago complexes. There is the Playa de Las Americas beach, which is right in the centre of Parque Santiago and all the action. It is a lovely golden sandy beach which is great for swimming. It runs along a beautiful promenade and starts from the Playa de Las Vistas area running past the Hotel Sir Antonio and Hotel Cleopatra Palace hotels and ending at the Playa La Pinta beach in Costa Adeje. To the left of Parque Santiago 3 and just a short stroll away there is the relatively new Las Vistas beach which has white sand and stretches to the Los Cristianos harbour. It is very safe to swim around the bay all year round. The popular San Telmo strip overlooks the beach and has the popular restaurants of Sama Sama, lucky 7,s,Sal Negra and Piccolo which are firm favourites in the area. After the tunnel and right next to the town is the original, Los Cristianos beach. With golden sands and shallow slopes into the sea and proximity to an array of boats which offer trips to see the whales and dolphins. You can easily walk right into town in a few minutes when you have soaked up the sunshine and cooled down in the blue sea
